FEMA Aid to Alabama tops 400 Million

Montgomery, AL – Of that amount, 111 million dollars has provided assistance to individuals and families. The biggest share, 287 million dollars, went for the emergency response, including medical and health services, debris removal, and the distribution of ice, water and food. FEMA says more than 113-thousand Alabama residents have registered with the agency for assistance.
