Washington, DC – U-S Senator Jeff Sessions is not pleased by the prospect that the Senate will not finish work on an immigration bill this week. Partisan disagreements are making a compromise unlikely. Sessions is critical of the Senate versions of the measure. He says they're too lenient on lawbreakers. He's talking about immigrants who come to America illegally and stay here. An initial Senate vote is set for this morning, but both parties believe the issue may be delayed until after the Easter recess. The bill would separate illegal immigrants who are now in the U-S into three different categories based on the amount of time they've been here.
