Albertville, AL – Organizers and public safety workers say as many as five thousand people marched through downtown Albertville Monday to promote immigration reform. It was among the dozens of rallies held nationwide as part of an effort organizers dubbed the "National Day of Action for Immigrant Justice." Similar rallies have been common during the past couple of weeks as Congress considers competing immigration plans. Albertville is located in Marshall County, which has an estimated population of nearly 85 thousand people. There are an estimated 69-hundred Hispanics living there.
