South Ala. Electronic Bingo Casino May Reopen

Dothan, AL – Country Crossing developer Ronnie Gilley says he's looking at possibly reopening the electronic bingo casino and surrounding attractions in Dothan.

Country Crossing's gambling hall, restaurants and inn have been closed since late January to prevent a raid by the Governor's Task Force on Illegal Gambling.

Gilley said former employees have been contacted to see if they are available, and a decision about reopening may be made Tuesday.

The White Hall Entertainment Center in Lowndes County has also been closed, but two other major gambling halls, Greenetrack in Eutaw and Victoryland in Shorter, have remained open.
