How the Smart Sip detects date rape drugs

Entrepreneurs are looking at straws as a way to detect when a drink has been tampered with.

Here & Now‘s Robin Young speaks with Neve Palmeri, a sophomore at Providence College who recently won the Big East Startup Competition with a reusable drinking straw, called Smart Sip, that can detect the chemicals of a drug.
