An Alabama sheriff who was hospitalized with COVID-19 is now recovering at home.

Autauga Sheriff Joe Sedinger was admitted to Jackson Hospital in Montgomery and was treated for the virus for two days. He said the vaccine and being treated with monoclonal antibody infusions contributed to his quick recovery.

Sedinger did say he plans to follow doctors' orders and quarantine at home and that he does not know where he was exposed to the virus.
