MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — A Montgomery man has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison for a tax refund scheme that involved more than 100 false tax returns. Nakia Jackson was sentenced Friday in Montgomery and ordered to pay nearly $213,000 in restitution. He was sentenced for conspiring to defraud the federal government and aggravated identity theft.
