Montgomery, AL – A high-profile Republican says she's entering the race for Secretary of State. State Auditor Beth Chapman announced Monday she's seeking the Republican nomination for the executive office. Chapman says she'll work to ensure honest elections by promoting legislation to make people show photo identification before they vote. She also says if elected, she would meet with all voter registrars in the state to answer any questions they may have. The current Secretary of State, Nancy Worley, is a Democrat.
