Los Angeles, CA – The Alabama football team won't be the only group from this state hitting the big stage tonight in California. "Seducing Alice", a band from Huntsville, will headline at one of the most historic nightclubs in Los Angeles during a giant post-game party. Alabama Public Radio's Brett Tannehill reports

****

The band calls its music eclectic Southern rock' and it will be center stage tonight at The Roxy. Lead singer of Huntsville-based Seducing Alice Collin Brooks says this is a huge gig for their band, and will help them get their foot in the door at other venues that may have previously ignored them.

BROOKS-I'm hoping this puts a feather in our cap that will give us the street cred to where maybe someone hears about it and wants to listen to what we have to say and the music we're making. That's what I hope to gain out of the whole thing

Brooks says jokes the band, which includes some members from Auburn, has Alabama coach Nick Saban to thanks to helping them land the show. He says if the Crimson Tide wasn't playing in National Championship game, they likely would have never even be considering to play a club where many music legends have graced the stage but now, like Alabama's football team, Seducing Alice plans to make the most of a golden opportunity. Their performance at the Roxy begins about two hours after the end of the game.
