Police dogs across Ohio discovered their skills are obsolete

STEVE INSKEEP, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

Apparently, it's too hard to retrain them to sniff out other drugs, which means the state will have to pay for new dogs, while the old ones are free to wander off into retirement and, if they so choose, light up a big one.
