Dr. James B. McClintock, professor of Polar and Marine Biology at UAB, author, and outdoorsman, will speak at the Fairhope Public Library in the Giddens Conference Center, October 7 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Using stories and dramatic photographs from his sixteen research expeditions in Antarctica, Dr. McClintock will demonstrate how Antarctic climate change affects us a thousand miles away in Alabama.
