Friends of the Fairhope PublicLibrary Used Book Sale

Holiday gift shopping starts with the Friends of the Fairhope Public Library FAIRHOPE, AL Nov. 5, 2021— The Friends of the Fairhope Public Library (FoFPL) will hold a used book sale in the lobby of the Fairhope Public Library, 501 Fairhope Ave, Fairhope, AL., November 18, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The sale will feature many unusual, gently used or like-new books that have been donated to the Friends. With shipping issues causing shortages of new books and gifts in stores, this is an opportunity to get a meaningful, personal present for your family members, friends and business associates, while supporting the Fairhope Public Library. There will be holiday-themed books, including cookbooks, fiction, religious works, children’s books, and DVDs. Don’t miss the selection of regular DVDs, CDs, and audio books. A $1 paperback section will provide great stocking stuffers. While fiction is a mainstay, there will be non-fiction, mysteries and children’s books. The sale also features gift baskets, vintage books, puzzles, and a potpourri of gift items donated to the Friends. “Our library is so fortunate to have a community that loves books and donates books to us when they are done. We receive many wonderful books,” said Randal Wright, President of the FoFPL. The FoFPL’s mission is to support and advocate for the Fairhope Public Library.
