The Blacksmith Experience will be hosting the family-friendly, 3rd Annual “Knife Making Competition” at The USS Alabama Battleship on Saturday, December 9th from 9 AM to 3 PM. The event features former contestants from the History Channel TV Show, “Forged in Fire”. Knives will be made of steel from the USS Texas and wood from the USS Alabama. There is a $5 suggested admission to enter that also registers event participants to win one of the knives being made that day. You do not need to be present to win. Come and go as you would like.

This is a fundraiser for the Non-Profit Organization “Forging A Difference” which uses blacksmithing and knife making to serve Veterans, Active Duty, Law Enforcement, and First Responders. These classes help create community and creatively weave in ways to address various mental health needs.
