Leading Ladies
Leading Ladies Opens March 19 at Chickasaw Civic Theatre.
Leo and Jack are a pair of underbooked British Shakespearean actors, touring in the U.S., when they hear of a wealthy elderly woman searching for her nephews and long-lost heirs. It’s a role they can't resist. They arrive, ready to play the parts and win the inheritance, only to learn that she’s searching for nieces, not nephews. Bow out? No way. Just choose a different costume.
Leading Ladies is written by Ken Ludwig, whose shows have been audience favorites in Chickasaw, and directed by Leonora Harrison.
Seth Taylor and Kevin Cook take the roles of Leo and Jack, with E.A. Keeble reprising her role as Aunt Florence. Lily Glass, Aven Martin, Michael Devery, Jeff Lovingood and Chandler Pittman round out the cast.
Leading Ladies will be presented for two four-day weekends, opening Thursday, March 19, and closing Sunday, March 29. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays and at 2:30 p.m. Sundays.
Tickets are available via the CCT website, cctshows.com. Some tickets may be available at the door. Cost is $18 for adults; $15 for seniors, students and active military.
