Alligator crawls out of storm drain in Mobile

Pixabay

An alligator reportedly crawled out of a storm drain near a Mobile apartment complex on Monday.

The reptile crawled out onto South Washington Avenue and was first spotted by a resident and her boyfriend while they were driving home. Children were getting off a school bus less than 50 feet away when the alligator emerged out of the drain. The couple called 911 and animal control reportedly caught the animal and took it away from the complex.

No injuries were reported.
