Birmingham, AL – Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark will be in Birmingham Monday on his "True Grits Tour." His campaign says it will show Clark has the true grit to challenge President Bush in the south. The retired general will tour the 16th Street Baptist Church and will be joined by Congressman Artur Davis and several community leaders. Clark's two day, eight state tour through the South is designed to show Clark as the Democratic Party's best hope to win over southern voters. President Bush won every southern state in the 2000 election.
