Beach Annoyances

By Alabama Public Radio

Undated – The Memorial Day holiday is the traditional beginning of the summer vacation season. The beach, of course, is a popular summer destination. The Associated Press has compiled a list of pet peeves expressed by beach vacationers. Smoking, feeding seagulls and kicking sand onto other people have made the top of the list. Beachgoers say litter and left-over food also are among their primary annoyances. Large umbrellas, errant Frisbees and shaking sand out of towels also made the list of complaints.
