Anniston, AL – Workers at the Anniston Chemical Weapons Incinerator have found more leaking M55 rockets containing G-B nerve agent. Army officials say over the past several weeks 20 rockets have been removed from igloos where they were stored. The Army also says the leaking munitions were contained and posed no danger to the public or employees. The Army has so far found almost 800 rockets from a specific production lot that are prone to vapor leaks. The standard procedure is to identify the munitions, place them in individual containers, then move them to separate igloos. The rockets are all eventually destroyed at the incinerator.
