Riley Asks Veterans to Wear Uniforms

Montgomery, AL – Governor Bob Riley is asking Alabama's military veterans to wear their uniforms Thursday for Veterans Day. Riley is also encouraging Alabama's employers to allow their workers to participate in "Honor Our Military Day." The governor says it's an opportunity to honor co-workers, neighbors and others for their military service. The governor is scheduled to be in Huntsville Thursday to participate in a Veterans Day ceremony at the State Veterans Home.
