Montgomery, AL – Alabama Power Company will go before the Alabama Public Service Commission Tuesday to talk about its 33 million dollar rate increase. Regulators have already approved the rate increase to fund several environmental projects. Commission spokesperson Clark Bruner says the meeting is just an informal hearing, and Alabama Power Company will make its presentation and answer questions. But, Bruner says members of the public also will have the chance to pose questions during the meeting. It will begin at 9:30 A-M Tuesday in the Public Service Commission's suite on the top floor of the R-S-A Union building in Montgomery.
