Gas Prices are Going Down

Birmingham, AL – Gasoline prices are going to be cheaper for the Christmas holiday than they were for Thanksgiving. And, the prices are still dropping. Triple-A Alabama's daily survey shows regular unleaded gasoline is about a dollar-78 per gallon. Mid-grades are a dollar-91, and premium fuels are now a dollar-96. Triple-A also says prices are down almost ten-cents from early December and nearly 20-cents from about two months ago. Birmingham has the lowest metro prices at a dollar-76, and Huntsville has the highest at a dollar-82.
