Mobile, AL – It became official Friday morning. Mobile Mayor Mike Dow will not run for re-election. It's not much of a surprise. He has said before that he will leave public office to spend more time with his family. He says he also would like to return to the business world. Dow has spent nearly 16 years as Mobile's mayor -- that's four terms in office. Meanwhile, former state Senator Ann Bedsole says she will campaign for the city's top job. She says if she wins, she'll serve only one term.
