Montgomery, AL – The Alabama Education Association's top executive is now the target of Republican advertising. The Alabama G-O-P is airing radio ads this week that are critical of Paul Hubbert. They also ask parents to support Governor Bob Riley's education budget battle against the A-E-A. Riley and Hubbert have exchanged messages regarding how education money should be spent in the upcoming budget. State Republican Party Chairman Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh says the party is spending about 25-thousand dollars on the one-week radio ad campaign.
