Hot Weather Expected for Several Days

By Alabama Public Radio

Undated – Weather forecasters are urging residents to be careful through the middle of next week. The National Weather Service is predicting very hot and humid conditions at least through Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to reach into the mid-to-upper 90s during the day, and humidity levels will be high. The heat index will reach well above the 100-degree mark. Meteorologists are advising people to wear loose, light-colored clothing when outside. For people who spend most of their time outside, forecasters recommend drinking lots of water and taking several breaks in a cool, shady area.
