Undated – The presidents of the University of Alabama and Auburn University had something to cheer about Friday, and it had nothing to do with Saturday's Iron Bowl. They've been given raises. Auburn Interim President Ed Richardson is getting a 23 percent pay boost. Though Richardson says he did not ask for a raise, he wasn't paid as much as presidents in the Alabama system. Auburn's trustees voted to increase his salary from 265-thousand dollars to 325-thousand dollars. University of Alabama President Robert Witt's pay increase is up seven percent -- from 432-thousand dollars to 464-thousand.
