Muscle Shoals, AL – North American Lighting will build a factory in Muscle Shoals. The official announcement came Tuesday. The company will invest 21 million dollars in the project, and it's expected to create more than 300 jobs. North American Lighting will produce tail lamps for automobiles. Its factory will be about 200-thousand square feet and will be located in the industrial park next to Northwest Alabama Regional Airport. The operation is expected to be ready to go by June 2007. Company officials predict the facility will be producing nearly two million tail lamps a year by 20-10.
