Civil Appeals Judge Campaigns for Top Court

By Alabama Public Radio

Montgomery, AL – Civil Appeals Court Judge Glenn Murdock is the latest to announce a campaign for the Alabama Supreme Court. He's the second Republican to target the Supreme Court seat being vacated by Justice Bernard Harwood. He's retiring. Former Supreme Court Justice Jean Brown is also in the race. Supreme Court Justice Tom Parker attended the announcement. Parker says Murdock was one of the attorneys who represented Roy Moore when he was a circuit judge in Gadsden who was trying to keep the Ten Commandments posted in his courtroom.
