Montgomery, AL – Riley is working on the fiscal 2007 state budgets that he will present to the Legislature next month. The governor told the Montgomery County Republican Club Monday night that if there's any money left after the budgets are built, he'd wants to return it to Alabama families. Riley says it's too early to say whether there will be a surplus. And no decision has been made on how to return it to Alabama citizens. State government ended fiscal 2005 on September 30th with a 299 million dollar budget surplus.
