Tuscaloosa AL – It's strange how a such a simple thing as a white paper bag with a candle in it can warm even the Grinch-iest of hearts. Strange, but true! Residents in Tuscaloosa can see for themselves this weekend as holiday luminaries will appear in several neighborhoods. On Saturday, Woodland Forest ... located near Bryant High School ... will put on a luminary show from 6 until 9 o-clock. On Saturday and Sunday, the Idlewood Neighborhood ... located off Hargrove Road near Loop Road ... will light its candles beginning at 5 o-clock. But the biggest show comes on Sunday, when neighborhoods in the downtown area will set luminaries aglow between 5 and 7. A hospitality house will be open at Alaca Place. Anyone can view the luminaries by foot or car. The tours occur weather permitting.
