Tuscaloosa, AL – Alabama is on pace to win a race -- a race to become the most obese state in the nation. The Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta reports about 28 percent of Alabama's residents are classified as obese. And, our increase since last year of one-and-a-half percentage points makes Alabama the state with the most unhealthy increase in the number of obese adults. But what is it, exactly, that determines who's fat and who's obese, and how should people monitor their own body weight? Pam Doyle reports on the latest trends in measuring obesity.
