Orange Beach, AL – Orange Beach Mayor Stephen Russo has been indicted on public corruption charges. The indictment says he participated in two different schemes to defraud the citizens of Orange Beach. Russo has been under investigation for two years and is now facing seven criminal counts. Authorities say he spent campaign or city funds on casino trips, a vacation and other personal items. U-S Attorney Deborah Rhodes, state Attorney General Troy King, Baldwin County District Attorney David Whetstone and the head of the Mobile F-B-I, Debra Mack announced the indictment Thursday.
