Dancy, AL – Nine churches have caught fire under suspicious circumstances since last Friday. That's when five occurred in Bibb County. Tuesday, four more were discovered in west Alabama. Dancy First Baptist Church near Aliceville and Spring Valley Baptist Church near Emelle were damaged. Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church near Boligee and Gallilee Baptist in Panola were destroyed.

Alabama Public Radio's Brett Tannehill traveled to Dancy First Baptist Church in Pickens County. He spoke with three people - the sheriff and the church's secretary and pastor. He began with Pickens County Sheriff David Abston.
