Three Republicans Get Support for Court Races

By Alabama Public Radio

Montgomery, AL – Three Republican candidates are getting support for their Supreme Court races. The Alabama Civil Justice Reform Committee has announced a few of its endorsements. The group backs the campaigns of Chief Justice Drayton Nabers and Justice Lyn Stuart to keep their seats on the court. The committee also supports civil appeals court Judge Glenn Murdock's campaign for a seat on the court. The Civil Justice Reform Committee represents more than 100 groups from the fields of business, industry, agriculture and medicine. Chairman Tom Dart says the group probably will make more endorsements after the April seventh qualifying deadline.
