Another Alabama Soldier Killed

Hoover, AL – The US Army says another Alabama solider has lost his life while serving in Iraq. Staff Sergeant Christopher Schornak of Hoover died on Sunday after his patrol was attacked in Baghdad Schornak was 28. He was born in Marietta Georgia, and worked for a heavy equipment firm in Birmingham after leaving the 101st Airborne Division in 2004. He reenlisted in the Army earlier this year and was assigned to the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Hood, Texas. Schornak is survived by his wife and two-year-old son.
