Bad Weather Heading Toward Alabama

Tuscaloosa, AL – Expect more severe weather today. A cold front is moving toward the state, and weather forecasters say showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead of it. The storms could begin entering northwest Alabama between noon and three P-M. Some of the storms may become severe. Damaging winds are possible with gusts up to 60 miles per hour. Hail and heavy rains also are possible. As the system moves through the state, storms could still be strong through the evening hours across central and east Alabama.
