Birmingham, AL – Workers with the National Weather Service will be out today trying to determine if two tornados touched down last night along the I-65 corridor. Forecasters say they believe a tornado crossed Interstate 65 in southern Cullman County around six o'clock last night. It knocked down trees, but the roadway wasn't blocked. About 20 minutes later, the weather service received a report about a possible tornado in Blount County, also near I-65. No deaths or injuries have been reported in either of those cases. Most of the counties in the storm's path reported minor damage.
