Birmingham, AL – U-S Magistrate Judge Robert Armstrong says a decision will be released this morning concerning bond for the three men charged with burning a rural Bibb County church. Benjamin Nathan Moseley, Russell Lee DeBusk Junior and Matthew Lee Cloyd spent another night in jail last night while awaiting the decision. During yesterday's bond hearing in Birmingham, Assistant U-S Attorney Bud Henry often referred to Moseley, DeBusk and Cloyd as men, not boys. He also talked about the severity of the crime. The men are suspected of burning nine rural Alabama churches last month. Defense attorneys, though, asked the judge to consider the men's education and family backgrounds. They also say the fires were not hate crimes.
