Montgomery AL – More Alabamians had jobs last month, according to the latest numbers from the Department of Industrial Relations. That drove the state's unemployment rate down to 3-point-6 percent for February, a point-2 percent or 3-thousand job improvement over January. Wilcox County recorded the worst unemployment rate, and Shelby Country recorded the best. February's numbers were also well below the national unemployment rate of 4-point-8 percent.
