New State Fire Marshal

Montgomery AL – Alabama has a new state Fire Marshal. State Insurance Commissioner Walter Bell today appointed Ed Paulk to the post. Paulk succeeds Richard Montgomery, who will retire March 31st. Paulk is a former Montgomery police officer and U-S Army veteran, has been Assistant State Fire Marshal since 1999. He has also served with the investigative agency since 1984. Paulk says he's honored by the appointment.
