Auburn Tuition Likely Going Up

By Alabama Public Radio

Auburn, AL – Tuition is probably going up at Auburn University. The Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet today to consider a four-point-one percent increase. That would make in-state tuition and fees nearly 55-hundred dollars during the next academic year. The extra revenue would help pay for maintaining university buildings. Auburn University spokesman David Granger says the school's finance committee proposed the tuition hike. And by the way, the board of trustees also is considering a two percent tuition increase at Auburn University Montgomery.
