Undated, AL – Alabama is not shaping up to be a major player in this year's congressional elections. Democratic incumbents Bud Cramer and Artur Davis have no Republican opposition. Democrats did qualify to run against four of Alabama's five Republican congressmen, but their candidacies are not expected to be very strong. Congressman Spencer Bachus has no Democratic challenger. All seven of Alabama's U-S House seats are up for election this year, but neither of the state's U-S Senate seats are on the ballot.
