AL – North Alabama had to deal with some severe thunderstorms Friday morning ... storms that have produced hail, intense lightning and heavy rain. No significant damage was reported. Much of Alabama could experience severe weather later today and tonight. Forecasters say showers and thunderstorms are likely, especially in north and central Alabama. Some storms could be severe. It is the third straight day Alabama has seen severe weather.
