More Storms Expected Tuesday Evening

By Alabama Public Radio

Undated, AL – Some strong to severe thunderstorms are going to be possible later Tuesday. The National Weather Service has revised some of its time frames. Forecasters now say the weather could get a bit rough between five P-M and midnight. Those storms will generally affect areas along and north of Interstates 20 and 59. As a cold front approaches from the northwest, it could bring hail and damaging winds. Strong thunderstorms also are possible south of Interstate 20 after midnight tonight. Forecasters say those storms could produce small hail and gusty winds.
