Montgomery, AL – Alabama's gubernatorial candidates have joined the chorus of voices responding to Monday night's address from the president. On the Republican ticket, Governor Bob Riley and primary challenger Roy Moore say they support President Bush's plan to use the National Guard along the Mexican border. Democratic candidate -- Lieutenant Governor Lucy Baxley -- says using the National Guard along the border should only be temporary measure. But former Governor Don Siegelman says he would never agree to that plan, saying the national military and the border states should take care of that issue.
