Montgomery, AL – Lobbyist and landfill developer Lanny Young continued telling a jury Wednesday about his exchanges with former Governor Don Siegelman's administration. Young says he traded money and gifts for political favors. He said Siegelman agreed to get a tax rate lowered for Young's company -- Waste Management -- in return for a donation to Siegelman's lottery campaign. Young also said he gave 25-thousand dollars to Siegelman's chief of staff, Paul Hamrick. Siegelman and Hamrick are on trial with former HealthSouth C-E-O Richard Scrushy and former state transportation director Mack Roberts. Young has already pleaded guilty in the investigation and is awaiting sentencing.
