Jackson County AL – John Christopher Lee Senior of Woodville has been released on a 200-thousand dollar bond after being accused of shooting two people Wednesday on the lawn of the Jackson County courthouse. Lee was released after a hearing in which he said he had no savings and few assets. Authorities say Lee shot Robert Lee Hunter of New Hope and Hunter's mother, Debra Parker of Madison. The shooting occurred following a court hearing regarding a dispute between Hunter and his ex-wife Brandy Cook over their children. Lee is Cook's stepfather. Hunter and Parker remain in critical condition at Huntsville Hospital.
