Army Identifies Soldiers Killed in Iraq

Fort Rucker, AL – The Army has identified the Fort Rucker soldiers who were killed this week in Iraq. Corporal Andy Dee Anderson of Falls Church, Virginia, died from the wounds he received in Tuesday's attack. 25-year-old Army Sergeant Carlos Pernell of Prattville was also killed in that attack, and three other soldiers were injured. They were assigned to the B- Company, 46th Engineer Battalion, which deployed to Iraq last October.
