Montgomery, AL – Federal Judge Mark Fuller is delaying a ruling in the government corruption case against former Governor Don Siegelman and three others. After hearing eight hours of arguments from defense attorneys who asked him to dismiss the charges, the judge says he'll consider them and will rule later in the trial. Prosecutors rested their case Thursday after 27 days of testimony. Defense attorneys were set to begin calling their witnesses Friday afternoon. Siegelman, his former Chief of Staff Paul Hamrick, former transportation director Mack Roberts and former HealthSouth C-E-O Richard Scrushy all face charges in the case.
