Birmingham, AL – Chess Bedsole finished in fourth place in the Republican primary for state auditor. He's now endorsing Wes Allen in the runoff election. Bedsole is a businessman and attorney from Birmingham. He says he's supporting Allen because both men have similar philosophies. He also says Allen has the most experience dealing with other people's money and property. Allen is the director of athletics development for Troy University. He faces Montgomery accountant Samantha Shaw in the July 18th runoff. The winner will face Democrat Janie Baker Clarke in the November seventh general election.
