Montgomery AL – Today (Friday the 7th) is the last day to register to vote in Alabama's July 18th Republican and Democratic runoff elections. Runoffs are held in races where the leading candidate fails to pull in more than 50-percent of the vote. You can register at your local Board of Registrars office ... at any public library or armed forces recruiting station ... or when you apply for a driver's license, food stamps, WIC or Medicaid. Democrats who voted in the June 6th primary are allowed to cross party lines and vote in the Republican runoff. However, Repubicans are not allowed to cross over and vote in the Democratic runoff.
